In short
KriyaXlabs builds education software and runs three of its own products in the sector: Crampad Enterprise, a multi-tenant learning platform for schools and colleges; Crampad, an offline-first study app for NEET and JEE candidates; and EduXFlow, an education-only video platform. The institutional patterns — tenancy, rosters, roles, seat licensing and audit trails — are ones we maintain in production, not ones we design for the first time on a client project.
Education software fails in predictable ways. It is built for one school and then sold to a hundred, so tenancy is bolted on. It assumes a stable connection, so it breaks in the places that need it most. It treats a teacher, a head of department and a parent as one user with different checkboxes.
We ran into all three building our own products. Crampad Enterprise makes the institution the tenant: every class, teacher, student, credit and audit line is scoped to an organisation, with nestable campuses and departments and six org-scoped roles. A user can be a teacher in one institution and an admin in another without either leaking.
Crampad approaches the same sector from the student's side, offline first, with its content bank bundled into the app so a weak connection costs nothing. EduXFlow handles the video half. Between them we have covered institutional, consumer and content infrastructure in one sector.
What goes wrong here, and what we do about it
One school became a hundred
Row-level organisation isolation on every table, nestable org units for campuses and departments, and seat-based licensing, so onboarding the next institution is configuration rather than a branch.
Roles are not checkboxes
Per-persona surfaces rather than one app with hidden buttons. Crampad Enterprise runs separate admin, super-admin, teacher, student and parent applications against one API.
The network is not reliable
Offline-first mobile with a bundled content store and reconciliation on reconnect, so study continues on a train, in a hostel, or during an outage.
Institutions ask compliance questions
OIDC single sign-on, SCIM 2.0 provisioning, org-scoped audit logs on every mutation, and data handling you can put in front of a procurement committee.

We build learning platforms, and we start by asking whether you need one. Where an existing LMS covers the ground, the useful work is usually integration and the surfaces around it. Where the institution's model does not fit an off-the-shelf product — unusual org structures, assessment rules, or licensing — a purpose-built platform is justified, and that is what Crampad Enterprise is.

Yes. OIDC single sign-on and SCIM 2.0 user and group provisioning are already built in Crampad Enterprise and switched on per institution. Most school and university procurement processes ask for both.
